OUR STORY

In 2014, like most parents, Linda & Pooch Hall wanted to give their daughter, Djanai the best Sweet 16 party ever.  Djanai is the sweetest, most loving girl you will ever meet.  She loves people, music, and loves to dance. But unlike most kids, Djanai is developmentally delayed, has Cerebral Palsy and suffers from seizures and a movement disorder.

Linda created a Special Needs Family Prom so that all her friends could come and celebrate with her and experience their first prom together.  She organized the Prom with two goals in mind – first, to integrate students with special needs with “able-bodied” students through a first-class prom experience. And second, to raise awareness and money to open inClusion ClubHouse, a much needed not-for-profit recreational center for those of all different abilities.

The Prom was a success; we had a red carpet, celebrity guests, Special Needs DJ, Walk & Roll Foundation dancers and much more. Everyone had an amazing time! The families asked when we could do it again, therefore, Linda pledged to make this our Annual Fundraiser for inClusion ClubHouse.
